Seven apartment buildings are being torn down in Gellerup, Aarhus. The residents who live behind these concrete walls no longer know what the future holds. The decision to tear down the building has been made by politicians, but affects thousands of families in fifteen different challenged areas around the country. Their local area has been dubbed a “ghetto” by the Danish parliament, that wants to resolve the ghettoization by tearing down public housing. Here you can meet some of the people who are losing their homes.
